He recalled having strange dreams, including those in which he had a sexual encounter with Zondo.
“I informed him of the traumatic dreams. He asked me to tell him every time I had one, and I did. Things got weird because he asked me not to tell my family.”
She alleged that Zondo tricked her into going on a church errand, which ended with her rape at a hotel.
“He was confused on the road and kept asking where we were going. He never answered. When we got to Formula One [hotel], he gave me the keys and told me to walk straight and not answer any questions from anyone, “he said and burst into tears.
She claimed that she was promised 75,000 rand in exchange for her silence.
“The incident destroyed me. I started drinking, wanting to numb my pain,” he said.
Two months later, he lost his mother and sister in a tragic car accident.
“I stood up to him and asked him to wake my mother from the dead because he claimed he could wake the dead. He told me he couldn’t.”
Commissioners were at times speechless during the hearing. CThe hairdresser, Professor Luka David Mosoma, said victims will receive counseling.
The hearings will continue on Wednesday and Thursday.
