The delay is due to what, according to the State, were “pending issues” related to the investigations.

JOHANNESBURG – The corruption case involving 7 suspects involved in the multi-million rand asbestos project has been postponed until February next year.
The delay is due to what the state said were “pending issues” involving investigations.
The suspects made a brief appearance at Bloemfontein Magistrates Court Wednesday morning and are comprised of government officials and business owners.
Among them is Edwin Sodi, the director of a controversial company that has reportedly received millions of rand from dodgy government contracts.
Sodi appeared in the state capture commission earlier this month, where he denied claims that the company was paid 255 million rand to audit and remove asbestos from various homes in the Free State.
