KwaZulu-Natal police arrested three men who allegedly robbed, shot and killed a man from the south coast who disappeared from his home.

Police spokesman Capt. Nqobile Gwala said Tuesday that multiple law enforcement units, as well as other law enforcement agencies, tracked down the 34-year-old man who disappeared from his home in Scottburgh.

They also took three of their vehicles.

“The police arrived at the scene of the crime and found the house full of blood and took three vehicles. Investigations took the team to Umzinto, Mpophomeni and Howick, where the three vehicles were recovered from the victims. A total of three suspects from among 21 and 34 years were placed under arrest. “

Gwala said the suspects led police to the Hlokozi area of ​​Highflats, where the man’s body was found in the bushes.

“He suffered gunshot wounds to the upper body.”

The murder, robbery and kidnapping charges were opened at the Scottburgh Police Station for further investigation.

The suspects were expected to appear in Scottburgh Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
