A 30-year-old man suffered serious injuries after falling over a fence while pruning a palm tree in Cape Town’s Intaka Island Reserve on Tuesday afternoon.
ER24 spokesman Ross Campbell said paramedics arrived at the scene at 2:20 p.m.

“The man had been taken from the island in a boat by local security and co-workers as far as our doctors could access him. Campbell said ER24 was unaware of the circumstances of the man’s fall while pruning the palm tree.
