Malema and EFF deputy Mbuyiseni Ndlozi appeared before the Randburg court of first instance to stand trial for the alleged attack.

The court showed CCTV footage of the incident, which occurred after police officer Johannes Venter refused to allow Malema’s vehicle to enter the cemetery.
Speaking to hundreds of his supporters outside of court, Malema said he is not scared by the charges.

“We will get to that appointment because we are not cowards. We must never be cowards.
