According to the police spokesman, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, the father of the 40-year-old girl, who is from a village in Giyani, went looking for her after she left their home on Saturday.
He found her at the home of her 25-year-old boyfriend and from there took her to the local police station to open a rape case.
The police then sent the teenager to a social worker for further evaluation.
It was later revealed that the victim’s father allegedly raped her on separate occasions last year and this year. It is alleged that he threatened her and warned her not to tell anyone.
Both men were arrested and will appear before Giyani Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Police investigations continue, according to Ngoepe.
