Jamie Foxx’s sister has passed away, as the star says her “heart is broken” by the devastating news.
The 52-year-old actor has taken to social media to share a touching tribute to his sister, DeOndra Dixon, after she recently passed away at the age of 36.
Along with a series of photos of DeOndra, including several snapshots of the two brothers together, Jamie wrote on Instagram: “My heart is shattered into a million pieces … my beautiful and loving sister Deondra has transitioned .. I say he made the transition because he will always be alive … anyone who knew my sister … knew she was a bright light …

Jamie had spoken highly of his sister, who became an Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation in 2011, and credited her for reminding her of what is important in life.
