Hell in a Cell is one of WWE’s most popular pay-per-view events.

Nothing is more exciting than watching two superstars enter the demonic structure, hit each other like hell, and come out as a changed person.

This year’s annual event was no different. Scores were resolved inside the cell Sunday night.

Roman Reigns and Jey Uso battled for bloodline supremacy, former best friends Bayley and Sasha Banks went to war, while Drew McIntyre put his WWE title on the line against Randy Orton.

There were many more surprises too, with no fewer than seven matches on the card, including one that was added very late.

What a show! Reigns and Uso opened the PPV with a Match of the Year contender that was WWE storytelling at its finest.

After both men went to hell and returned in a brutal fight, Jey finally spoke the words “I surrender” after Roman locked up his submission to the guillotine over the wounded Jimmy Uso, who came to his brother’s aid.

After the match, Reigns was officially recognized as ‘The Tribal Cheif’ by Afa and Sika (The Wild Samoans). We can’t wait to see where this story goes next!

There was a surprise appearance from Afa and Sika at HIAC.

There was more drama when The Miz beat Otis to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase after a massive heel turn from Tucker.

It wasn’t just Reigns and Uso that wrecked him.

Sasha Banks defeated Bayley to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship in a SECOND match of the Year contender on the same night.

Banks and Bayley broke it

But the real drama came in the Hell in a Cell main event when Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton squared off.

After a violent battle inside the cell, both men scaled the structure and continued fighting on the roof, before Orton smashed into the announce table.

Somehow, despite suffering a terrible fall, the WWE champion bounced back to catch Orton with a Claymore Kick and seemed willing to retain his belt.

But it wasn’t enough as Randy invested a second Claymore to hit the RKO and win the WWE Championship.

What a night!
