PSL confirms dates for back-to-back Soweto Derby matches in MTN8 semi-finals

Soweto Giants Kaizer bosses Y Orlando Pirates will meet in consecutive weekend games at the MTN8 semifinals after Premier Soccer League (PSL) on Monday the dates and venues of the competition were confirmed.

The first leg of the MTN8 semi-finals is scheduled for next weekend, October 31 and November 1, 2020. The return will be the following weekend on November 7 and 8.

Bloemfontein Celtic and SuperSport United will play the corresponding semi-final.

First leg:

On Saturday, the Orlando Pirates host Kaizer Chiefs in the first of two Soweto derby games at Orlando Stadium.

On Sunday afternoon, defending champions SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic will meet at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Second leg:

On Saturday, Bloemfontein Celtic host SuperSport United at Dr Molemela Stadium in Mangaung and the second Soweto derby takes the lace a day later at FNB Stadium for a place in the 2020/21 MTN8 final.

In accordance with Covid-19 regulations, all four games will be played behind closed doors. They will be broadcast live on television.

The start of all matches will be at 15:00.
