Famous American rapper Offset was arrested on Saturday while chatting with his followers in an Instagram Live session.
Images of the rapper’s arrest have now circulated widely on social media and show an officer asking him to get out of the vehicle.
“I’m not doing that, I’m not doing that. Because you have guns. That’s my choice. I’m not going to move my hands off the wheel,” he said.
A female officer proceeds to tell him that they were informed about him “brandishing weapons”.
“Do you know who I am? Offset of the Migos. They have fans, so they follow me,” he says.
“That has nothing to do with why we are here. They told us that you were brandishing weapons at people,” he replies.
Responding to the claim, Offset says they saw someone hitting his car with a flag.
Once again, an officer asks him to get out of the vehicle and he tries to unlock and open the car door by reaching inside.
Offset responds that he will sue them, adding that what they were doing was illegal. That’s when they pull him out of his car and pull him over.
Another video posted by a passerby shows Trump supporters around the rapper’s car with flags on the president.
According to a Daily Mail report, the incident occurred during a Trump rally in Beverly Hills.
