JOHANNESBURG – The secretary general of the African National Congress (ANC), Ace Magashule, has maintained that he is not concerned about any impending arrest against him, saying that he has done nothing wrong.
Magashule led a door-to-door campaign in Ekurhuleni on Saturday afternoon before the region’s elections.
“I am not concerned at all because I am a South African citizen who complies with the law. I have done nothing wrong. When you know that you have done nothing wrong, you walk with pride and confidence, ”Magashule told eNCA.
Magashule made headlines earlier this month, with speculation abound that the Hawks have a warrant for his arrest.
This was in connection with the bidding fraud and corruption that occurred during his tenure as Prime Minister of the Free State.
The order was believed to have been signed by a Bloemfontein court relating to millions of rand spent on the failed Estina Dairy Farm project that left black farmers destitute.
