Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has hinted that the new signing will make his Manchester United debut against Chelsea on Saturday.
Having achieved their 10th consecutive away win against Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League, Manchester United must now build momentum in the Premier League. They have won two and lost two of the first four games and languish in a spot in the middle of the table with six points. However, a win against Chelsea tomorrow could turn the tide.
The team looks a bit thin for this particular match. Anthony Martial is still serving his red card suspension against Tottenham Hotspur and will therefore be unavailable. Additionally, Ole and the staff also have to deal with the injury of Eric Bailly, who is expected to be out for a few weeks.
In an exclusive interview with the club, Ole provided updates in terms of team news and there are some signs of hope after all. It looks like Uruguayan star Edinson Cavani will be involved in some way against Chelsea.

Since joining the club, Cavani has impressed his teammates and the coaching staff as well. He was seen chatting with Axel Tuanzebe in the preparations for the match against PSG and there are suggestions that he could have given him a little advice against the dangerous Paris attack. It seems that everything he said to the defender worked like a charm during the game.
The Uruguayan was not fit enough to start against his former team, however there is a possibility that he will start at Old Trafford on Saturday. Ole said:
“He could also be ready for the team this weekend.”
The Norwegian praised Cavani’s determination in training and his desire to be fit as soon as possible:
“He has been training hard and well. I think it will be available on the weekend. “
It will certainly be exciting to see if the former Napoli and PSG star makes his long-awaited Premier League debut. Every sign of him so far in training has been positive, United fans will hope that translates on the field when he hits the pitch.
