England will play three IT20s and three ODIs from November 27

England will play two white-ball series against South Africa starting next month at biosecurity headquarters in Cape Town and Paarl.
The tour received the green light after Cricket South Africa agreed travel waivers for the Eoin Morgan team with the South African government.
The teams will play three IT20s starting on November 27, then they will meet in three ODIs starting on December 4, and all matches will be played behind closed doors due to the continued impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
Tom Harrison, Executive Director of the ECB, said: “We owe it to sport that we do everything we can to keep international competition moving forward during this pandemic.”
“The series against the Proteas are always exciting and intense. We saw it earlier this year in South Africa and we can expect the same this time.”

“This is a wonderful boost for cricket,” said Kugandrie Govender, acting chief executive officer of CSA, at a time when South Africa’s international future looks uncertain following the government’s stated intention to intervene in cricket affairs over concerns of bad management on the cricket board.
“We are also very grateful to the England and Wales Cricket Board for the support they have given us in many areas and we will be able to draw on their own experiences and assist in the organization and execution of international cricket under biosecurity conditions.”
“This is a first for us and we are committed to learning quickly and responsively as we have an action-packed international season ahead of us.”
The England team, which could contain up to 24 players, will train at the Western Province Cricket Club and play three practice matches within the team, two T20s and a 50-year-old game, before the series begins.
The touring party team will depart London on a chartered flight on Monday 16 November and will be based in Cape Town thereafter.
