Soweto Giants Orlando Pirates Tuesday announced the high demand firm Maritzburg United goalkeeper Richard Ofori as the last signing of the club.
“The 26-year-old signed with the Buccaneers after agreeing to the terms of a three-year contract,” the club said in a statement.
“I am very happy to be here. It is a dream for me to be part of this exciting team and to work with the technical team,” said the Ghanaian.
“I also look forward to meeting my new teammates and being a part of this exciting new project.”
Ofori joined Maritzburg United in 2018, making 64 appearances in all competitions, including nine international appearances for the Ghana national team.
Meanwhile, the Pirates also confirmed that Tebogo Tlolane will move in the other direction to Maritzburg United on a one-season loan.
