AmaZulu has unveiled its new signings for the upcoming Premier Soccer League (PSL) season, with Siphiwe Tshabalala and Luvuyo Memela among the headlines.

The 36-year-old Tshabalala is the most outstanding arrival and comes to AmaZulu after a historic career at both national and European levels.
In addition to his 90 appearances on Bafana Bafana, Shabba also made more than 200 appearances on PSL for Kaizer Chiefs, and also represented the Free State Stars early in his career.
He has been without a club since finishing a short stint at BB Erzurumspor in Turkey, and his trophy-winning experience – he was a two-time PSL champion with Chiefs – represents a boost for his new employers.
Memela comes to AmaZulu after leaving the Orlando Pirates, and the Buccaneers confirmed earlier in the week that contract talks with the 33-year-old had stopped.
He spent five years with the Bucs after leaving the Cape Town All Stars, establishing himself as a key player with the national heavyweights during that period.
He was not involved in the team that defeated Cape Town in the MTN8 quarterfinals on Saturday, fueling rumors of an imminent departure, while the Pirates’ decision to hand over Deon Hotto Memela’s No. 11 jersey also suggested that an exit was near.
Makhehleni Makhaula, Sicelo Mkhize, Siphelele Nene, Thembela Sikhakhane, Limbikani Mzava, Samkelo Mgwazela and Siphelele Mthembu are the other signings presented by AmaZulu, while Mulenga confirmed his imminent arrival last week after his own career in the Pirates arrived. end.
The considerable recruiting drive is testament to AmaZulu’s renewed ambition under businessman Sandile Zungu, whose successes with the Zungu Investment Company have allowed him to invest heavily in returning the Warriors to their former glory.
Sowetan reported earlier this week that both Tshabalala and Memela will begin training with their new employers on Monday as AmaZulu looks to reach the top four this period and push for the continental ranking.
AmaZulu finished the 2019-20 PSL season in 13th place, dodging just the last two spots for one spot.
One of the oldest clubs in South Africa, they were winners of the National Professional Soccer League (NASL) in 1972.
