Al Ahly first team coach Pitso Mosimane said his team’s only goal against Wydad is to get a positive result.

Al Ahly are currently in Casablanca, Morocco, in preparation for the CAF Champions League semi-final clash against Wydad Casablanca.

The game is scheduled for Saturday October 17 and will be Mosimane’s biggest challenge since taking over the Red Devils.

Speaking to the official website of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the South African coach said that his only goal is to obtain a positive result.

“I know Wydad quite well, they are a tough team and we respect them. They also know Al Ahly very well, but we came here to get a positive result and why not go home with a win, ”he said.

“We have a lot of injured players but I can’t complain because that’s football. We played a few games without a lot of regular starters and we were still able to win. I believe in my team ”, he concluded.

The Red Devils had three crucial players missing from their previous game squads, including team captain Mohamed El-Shennawy, Ayman Ashraf and Mahmoud Kahraba. Fortunately, all three were declared fit a few days before the game.
