Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) president Masala Mulaudzi has confirmed that the future of former Bafana Bafana and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Oupa Manyisa at the club is uncertain.
Manyisa, who also played for the Orlando Pirates during his successful professional career, was not among the TTM players who were introduced by Mulaudzi on Thursday at Polokwane for his first season in the DStv Premiership.
“The roles and responsibilities or services of Mr. Manyisa were effectively taken over by TTM, but the future is uncertain,” said Mulaudzi, who bought Bidvest Wits status a few months ago.
“The subject of Oupa Manyisa is very sensitive due to the fact that we respect him and he respects us. Mr. Manyisa still has some other outstanding issues that still need to be resolved between him and the management, so he is not here. “
Mulaudzi unveiled 25 of the 28 players who have signed up for the upcoming season, which begins this weekend with MTN8’s quarter-final match against SuperSport United at Thohoyandou Stadium.
Some of the players who will be part of the team are Brighton Mhlongo, Justin Shonga, Gustavo Paez, Augustine Mulenga, Joseph Molangoane and Mogakolodi Ngele.
Joel Masutha has assumed the responsibilities of coach of the club and will be assisted by Lucky Nelukau with Stephane Bosondo as goalkeeper-coach.
