Pick n Pay has announced its plan for Black Friday 2020, which includes an extended sale period for online and in-store purchases.
This year, the Pick n Pay Black Friday sale will run from a single weekend to two full weeks.
“Black Friday is a very busy business period, so we are extending Black Friday to two weeks to keep our customers safe and able to shop for great deals in their spare time,” said John Bradshaw, Retail Executive at Pick n Pay.
“We will also limit the number of customers in our stores at any one time to keep everyone safe, with highly organized queues.”
Pick n Pay said it is more prepared than ever this year for its Black Friday sale.
“Thorough planning with our vendors will ensure that all stores are well stocked for the new two-week Black Friday,” said Bradshaw.
“We really want all of our customers to be able to get their favorite offers. We will also open as many checkouts as possible so that customers keep queues to a minimum. “
Pick n Pay said it will offer more options on appliances and tech products for its in-store and online deals, as well as great specials on food and pantry items.
The retailer will focus on exclusive Black Friday deals online and, like last year, will run online-only deals before launching its in-store deals, with new deals added every few days.
“Last year, our exclusive online-only offers proved very popular and our PnP online shopping team did a great job getting the products to our customers the next day,” said Bradshaw.
“Many customers first tried shopping online during closing and now feel much more comfortable buying exactly what they want from their homes. We know you are going to really enjoy shopping online for Black Friday. “
Customers will be able to sign up to receive alerts for Black Friday 2020 deals on all product ranges on the Pick n Pay website.
