The Bafana look to give Chipolopolo his second straight loss when the two teams meet at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium
South Africa will face South African rivals Zambia in an international friendly match on Sunday afternoon.
The Bafana Bafana are aiming for nothing but victory after Namibia drew 1-1 in a friendly match on Thursday.
Coach Molefi Ntseki has explained that it is imperative for the Bafana to defeat Zambia, before they face São Tomé and Príncipe in the Afcon 2022 qualifiers next month.
Bafana will face a Zambian team desperate for victory after succumbing to Kenya 2-1 in a friendly match on Friday.
Coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has stressed that Chipolopolo needs to improve defensively before their clash with South Africa.

Squads and team news
South Africa is likely to be left without Lebogang Manyama as the experienced playmaker missed the match against Namibia due to a back injury.
However, Ntseki has confirmed that players such as Thulani Hlatshwayo, Themba Zwane and Percy Tau will return to the starting lineup after having rested midweek.
Bafana will consider Tau as the RSC Anderlecht striker has the ability to inspire the 1996 African champions to beat Zambia.
Meanwhile, Chipolopolo will be left without Kabaso Chongo, who captained the team against Kenya and the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) did not give specific reasons for his absence.
Sredojevic selected a team comprised mostly of Zambia-based players, including the Napsa Stars duo of Luka Banda and Collins Sikombe.
The 2012 African champions will pin their hopes on Sikombe as the 23-year-old shooter scored the lone goal that earned Chipolopolo a win over Kenya.
Match preview
South Africa are unbeaten in their last two matches after claiming a win over Sudan, before drawing with Namibia.
The Bafana are also enjoying a three-game unbeaten streak at home, having recorded two wins and a draw.
Whereas Zambia is struggling right now having lost three of their last four matches against Algeria, Zimbabwe and Kenya.
Micho’s team has also failed to win their last two away games, having recorded two straight losses on the road.
In head-to-head statistics, Bafana and Chipolopolo have met 21 times since South Africa was reinstated to FIFA in 1992.
The two teams have met Zambia 21 times recording seven wins compared to South Africa’s six, while eight matches ended in draws.
The last meeting between the two teams ended with a 2-0 victory for the Bafana in a Four Nations Tournament in Ndola, Zambia in March 2018.
