Cricket South Africa (CSA) on Friday he announced the list of matches for the upcoming 2020/21 national season.

The franchise cricket will begin in the first week of November (November 2-5), while the men’s and women’s amateur provincial cricket will only begin in early January.

The cricket governing body said the franchises will contest a T20 competition in addition to One day drink and the CSA’s Four-Day Franchise Series. The Mzansi Super League has already been postponed until next year.

Unlike in previous years, the franchise teams will be divided into two groups of three teams each for the four-day and one-day events.

They will play a double round of matches against teams in their own group and a single round of crossover group matches.

CSA added that the T20 competition will be played in a single round of matches (five), with the top two teams qualifying for the final.
