Maphorisa is no stranger to lighting young beef with her musician friends. Earlier this year, the Lorch The hitmaker had a twist with club DJ Prince Kaybee that lasted for several months.
It started when a racy exchange of words broke out after Maphorisa heated up the block in February when he gave an example of owning his music’s masters, claiming Prince Kaybee, Lady Zamar, and Mafikizolo did not.
While Lawd Porry claimed that the reason behind his name was because he wanted to show other musicians the importance of owning their teachers, Kaybee responded to Maphorisa with a list of her various sources of income.
He also hinted that Maphorisa could have made her point without dropping any names, especially her own.
The couple soon entered into a back-and-forth word exchange on the TL, and they both brought receipts for their respective contributions to the music scene. They fought over everything from radio and broadcast stats to the size of their muscles and the cars they drove.
