“I thought it necessary to state categorically that I am loyal to Mamelodi Sundowns and I stay at Mamelodi Sundowns.

“Serving him gives me great motivation and the spirit we have within us is what gives me a sense of belonging.

Mokwena, the 33-year-old coaching prodigy, was part of the Sundowns coaching team under Mosimane that won the 2016 Caf Champions League trophy, along with Downs’ other assistant Manqoba Mngqithi.
Mngqithi appears to be staying with the Brazilian team as well, and has been mentioned with Mokwena as a possible candidate for the vacant head coach position.
