The Guinean has not had the strongest start to his Anfield career since joining in 2018. He contributed to three goals in three winning performances towards the end of the season and has appeared in every Liverpool game this period so far.
With three veteran midfielders ruled out, Keita and Wijnaldum could be ready to team up and deliver a solid performance in the middle of the park against Villa.
