Roy Jones Jr. (66-9, 47 KOs), is widely regarded as one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in history. He had his last fight in 2018 against Scott Sigmon, where he won by unanimous decision.
After being away from boxing for over 2 years, Jones was recently finalized as Mike Tyson’s opponent for the latter’s return to boxing after 15 years.
The two will meet in the ring for the first time, although Jones has fought at heavyweight before. The fight was originally scheduled to take place in September. However, to maximize revenue collection, the date was changed to November 28.
The two veterans of the sport will meet for eight rounds in an exhibition match. Many people are expected to tune in.
