Vodacom Bulls winger Kurt-Lee Arendse was one of the players who impressed national coaches last weekend, but a missed flight has denied him a chance to participate in the Springbok Showdown.
Arendse was one of the highlights of Saturday’s double header at Loftus, and the seven-time sprinter particularly attracted attention with a scintillating 90-meter try.

On Monday, SA rugby director Rassie Erasmus revealed that they had considered involving Arendse in this weekend’s Bok test suite after wings Sergeal Petersen and Seabelo Senatla were ruled out for injuries.
However, the 24-year-old missed his flight to Cape Town, which Erasmus said they were now investigating.
