Manchester United will reportedly make a final offer to Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho.
It is the story that has been rumbling throughout the transfer window and could soon come to a conclusion.
The Red Devils were tied to an offer for Sancho right at the beginning of the summer, but less than two weeks before the window closes, he is still at the German club.
Dortmund set August 10 as the deadline for any deal to be finalized, which passed without incident, and the Bundesliga club has made several statements insisting that it will not be sold this summer.
Earlier this week, sporting director Sebastian Kehl claimed the England international was not going anywhere.
The Bundesliga season has already started with Sancho assisting in Dortmund’s 3-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach.
However, Man United will test Dortmund’s resolve with a final ‘take it or leave it’ offer, according to Mirror.
They will reportedly offer £ 75 million upfront with an additional £ 15 million in add-ons.
United Executive Vice President Ed Woodward will also tell Dortmund that there will be no negotiations on the rate or structure of the deal.
Dortmund’s asking price is said to be around 108 million pounds, 18 million more than United’s initial offering and add-ons combined.
Even as the October 5 transfer deadline is fast approaching, the Red Devils remain optimistic of a deal.
His only transfer window transfer so far has been the £ 40 million addition of Donny van de Beek, who scored on his Premier League debut last weekend.
