Arsenal’s next Premier League game will see him visit Anfield to play Liverpool, a team that had been beating them on a regular basis until recently.
The Gunners are off to a good start to this campaign, winning two league games and one Carabao Cup game to give themselves the perfect platform to build a successful season.
They will compete in at least four competitions this season and they need to keep the victories.
Their next match is possibly the toughest match of the campaign so far, as they visit Anfield to face Premier League champions Liverpool.
The Reds dominated this match before Arsenal appointed Mikel Arteta as their coach, however the Spaniard has faced Jurgen Klopp’s men twice since he became the club’s manager and won both games.
They beat Liverpool in the reverse league match during the Premier League restart before beating them on penalties to win the Community Shield.
But the next game will be his first visit to Anfield as Arsenal manager and he knows a thing or two on the field.
He was on Manchester City’s bench when Liverpool beat them last season at Anfield and has admitted that Liverpool Stadium is the most difficult terrain for any team to visit.
Arteta said as quoted by HITC: “It is the most difficult place to go in Europe and the world.
“Let’s prepare well and see how it goes.”
