Amakhosi appeared before the Court of Arbitration for Sport on September 9 but there has been a delay in receiving the verdict
The Kaizer Chiefs have provided an update on the outcome of their transfer ban appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
According to Amakhosi, the CAS has not yet communicated its ruling and the club has promised to make it public once it receives the communication.
To update:

There have been rumors on social media that CAS had lifted the Glamor Boys suspension and several soccer fans claimed that the club was fined and is now eligible to sign new players.
However, Amakhosi’s move to set the record discards the rumors, meaning the ban is still in effect and therefore they cannot sign and register new players at this time.
The pressure to sign new players has been felt by millions of Amakhosi fans after players like Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates moved quickly to reinforce their respective teams for the upcoming season.
The Glamor Boys have linked up with several high-profile players such as S’fiso Hlanti and Thabang Monare, who are free agents following the sale of Bidvest Wits to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM).
While the duo had existing contracts with TTM, the club announced last week that their contracts had been terminated and therefore left them free to join clubs of their choice.
But with the Chiefs still unsure what the outcome of their appeal will be, the two players are in the dark regarding their future.
The only thing Amakhosi can do at this stage is reach a verbal agreement with whichever player they are looking for, either for the new season or until the end of their transfer ban.
It is not clear at this stage if the club has tried to approach any of the players it wishes to recruit.
The Naturena-based team received a two-window transfer ban for illegally signing Adriamirado ‘Dax’ Andrianarimanana from Fosa Juniors, who claimed the midfielder was signed when the Chiefs signed him in 2018.
