Standard Bank has brought court documents to force popular radio and television icon Khanyi Mbau to hand over his two luxury vehicles after allegedly defaulting on his quotas.
The documents were addressed by Alexandra Pesci de Martins, Weir Smith Inc on behalf of the bank in Joburg Superior Court last week.
According to the papers, the bank is seeking an order to cancel the Porsche Carrera and Mercedes-Benz AMG fees from the former Metro FM host. She also wants the court to force the former Muvhango and Uzalo actress to return the vehicles to the bank.

Speaking to Sunday World, Mbau, the former Ayeye and Scandal actress, said she was shocked that the bank was taking her to court because she had sold the Mercedes-Benz two weeks ago.
“Obviously, I don’t know why they couldn’t pick it up because I sold the car,” he shared.
He also said he did not understand why the bank wanted his Porsche back because it was only one month past due.
“I think there is a misunderstanding here. I will talk to them next week, because it is already the weekend, to understand why they have done it ”.
Although the court documents did not indicate how much Mbau paid per month for the two road monsters, Sunday World independently established that he had purchased both vehicles for at least R1.5 million each and was paying at least R28,000 per month for each. one. car.
