Sarah Ferguson had to endure many hardships when she married Prince Andrew, similar to all new members of the royal family.

Fortunately for her, she already had a fervent supporter within the Palace who fiercely defended her in front of other complaining members: Princess Diana.

The two royal wives had gotten quite close and had become best friends, being in search of the other.

One incident that has been circulating online is when the late Princess of Wales got into a fight with Princess Anne, who was complaining about something Fergie did.

Royal editor in general in the Daily mailRichard Kay had said during the Channel 5 documentary, Fergie Vs Diana: Real Wives At War: “Diana had a big fight with Princess Anne, who was complaining about something Fergie had done.”

“Diana stood up for her and said her part. It was pretty brave on Diana’s part. She kind of asked Anne, ‘You have to give her a break. Fergie is good for the family but has a hard time adjusting, just like I did.” Diana had said according to Kay.
