- Charlize Theron says she’s not averse to dating, but she’s so content with life right now that a couple would have to come up with “a lot of play”.
- During an interview with Drew Barrymore, she said she hasn’t dated seriously in over five years.
- “I can honestly say this, in my life, I don’t feel alone,” she said.
Charlize Theron appeared in The Drew Barrymore Show on Thursday excited to chat about causes close to her heart, while also opening up about dating.
“This is how @drewbarrymore and I greet each other every time,” he wrote in Instagram, with a screenshot of the two stars. “Congratulations on this amazing new show,” she added, “you continue to bring joy and happiness to the world. I love you, ma’am.”

During their conversation, The old guard Star became sincere about not having been in a serious relationship for “more than five years.”
“I’m open when my friends tell me, ‘You should go on a date, you should meet this boy,'” she said, adding that she feels that way. “[she’s] in a place in [her] life where you have to come with a lot of play ”.
“It’s not the kind of game that we think of, the kind of game that my life is really good at, so you better be able to bring that up and maybe better because I won’t accept anything less,” the actor said.
“I can honestly say this, in my life, I don’t feel alone.
“Once I had my kids, it’s not that I replace something or make you less interested in something else,” he said of his daughters, Jackson and August.
She added: “I’m still shooting full blast. I think your priorities are in a place that is in high demand; it’s a lot of work being a parent. Part of that is at the end of the day to bed and I think, ‘Oh my God, no. I wish this day were different. ‘
the Charlie’s Angels Star said she could relate and said, “I always say that I wish someone was a sum, if not the equation, and never a subtraction.”
