Chelsea fans got so excited about the arrival of Kai Havertz that they almost forgot how excited they were with Timo Werner before that. And they got so excited about Timo Werner that they have largely forgotten how excited they were with the arrival of Hakim Ziyech.
The fact that the former Ajax player is still injured has also pushed him to the end of the line, but he has not been forgotten at the club. The Daily Mail has quoted from Rio Ferdinand where he reveals that Frank Lampard has been telling him about the cunning Moroccan star:
“I spoke to Frank the other day about Ziyech and he said, ‘His passing is ridiculous.
“I’m looking to see when he cuts off his left foot and has people like Mount, Werner, Havertz, etc. doing races, and I think he’ll be putting it on the plate for them.”

“I spoke to Frank the other day about Ziyech and he said ‘his death is ridiculous,'” Rio said.
That was evident in the only game he has played for Chelsea so far, a friendly win over Brighton, where his first left-handed pass over the top created the Blues’ only goal of the game.
This weekend may be a little early for him, but it won’t be long before we get to see those magic feet in real action.
