Manchester United are looking for alternatives to Jadon Sancho, and could be prepared to offer a loan to Welsh magician Gareth Bale.
Borussia Dortmund have been adamant in keeping Sancho, who scored for the club last night against Duisberg alongside English star Jude Bellingham. Since United apparently failed in this quest, they are now turning to other stars.
One of those names is Real Madrid outcast Gareth Bale. The Welshman is unwanted in the Spanish capital and with United offering a short-term deal, starting with a loan, Zinedine Zidane is believed to be open to letting the former world record signing leave the Bernabéu.
Bale is still not convinced, according to reports. He would like to return to the Premier League, but not on a loan. However, United could end up tempting him with high wages.
United have long been a fan of Bale, ever since his Tottenham Hotspur days, and have considered highly successful moves for him in the past. Now, however, it looks like the Red Devils could acquire their man for around £ 20 million, with Real looking to raise capital.
Bale is now 31 years old. For a footballer who was so confident in his physique in his prime, it is perhaps understandable that Ed Woodward is unwilling to commit to a long-term move for the open man.

However, if Bale were to rekindle something close to his best form at United, he could be a great asset to the team. At the very least, his power and drive from the right would be a great alternative to Mason Greenwood.
United are also apparently interested in signing Sergio Reguilon from Real Madrid, with Los Blancos already in that position, with Marcelo and Ferland Mendy as options. Sevilla, who Reguilón played on loan last season, have just bought Marcos Acuña from Sporting Lisbon, seemingly ending the Real Madrid defender’s chance to return there this season.

Real could be in Jadon Sancho’s place next summer, competing with United for his signature. United is apparently concerned about increased competition for the youngster’s signature should he not be secured before the October transfer deadline, and some of Europe’s biggest clubs are interested in his services.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team is likely to be linked with more names in the final weeks of the window. His only acquisition so far is Donny van de Beek from Ajax.
