A cold Monday is at stake for the Western Cape, with cool to warm weather for the eastern half of the country, while the northern belt will be hot, according to the South African Meteorological Service.

Extremely high fire hazard conditions are expected in the central parts of the Free State, the western parts of the northwest and the interior northeast of the Eastern Cape.
