Brazilian forward Richarlison surprisingly missed an open goal during the first half of Everton’s away game against Tottenham Hotspurs in the Premier League on Sunday (September 13). Everton created some great opportunities in the first half against the Spurs, but the biggest one fell to Richarlison, who managed to shoot himself over the bar.
After Tottenham left-back Ben Davis lost his long bass to Toby Alderweireld, Richarlison showed incredible pace to show his pace and hit the ball ahead of the Spurs center-back. The Brazilian even left Hugo Lloris on the ground with his shimmy but what happened next was unthinkable.
With quite an open goal, Richarlison threw one over the bar without composing and ended up becoming a laughingstock on social media for his diabolical failure.
