The Queen, Prince Charles, will return the money to UK taxpayers after undoubtedly flaunting wealth

Republic CEO Graham Smith has been advocating for the abolition of the monarchy for years and during a recent interview with Express.UK, shared his heartfelt thoughts on how the monarchy should return the millions of taxpayer pounds they lived on for generations.

“It’s difficult to know which ones spend the most because finances are not reported that way. What I would say is that Prince Charles takes £ 20 million at least every year from the Duchy of Cornwall, which is money that should go to the treasury, so which is a large part of the total cost of the monarchy. “

He went on to say, “Besides that, the government has also paid various things for him directly, certain travel areas, for example, and obviously security. Therefore, he is probably one of the most expensive members of the Royal Family.”

“Obviously being the Queen Head of State would cost more I imagine. Certainly someone like Prince Andrew has also proven to be quite causal with publicly funded travel with helicopter flights and private jets etc.

“It is very difficult to distinguish one over the other, but we know that the Queen and Charles take millions of pounds from the two ducats. We would assume that the Queen would be more expensive than the other due to her position as Head of State.”

Smith also referred to Prince Charles’ excessive spending habits, stating that the air to the throne has “a competition” to see “who can spend more.”

“Obviously, the Queen spends a lot because she is the head of state and the head of the company, so she is responsible for most of that 345 million pounds a year.”

“Prince Charles and his brother Andrew are particularly ostentatious in their spending. They travel the world in considerable luxury. It’s tough competition, everyone is just as bad as everyone else.”
