A new investigative report has revealed the details of Naya Rivera’s final moments with her son, Josey.
The 33-year-old man disappeared in July while on a boat trip with Josey. The four-year-old was later found alone, asleep in the boat.
His body was found days with the cause of death ruled an accidental drowning.

According to a Ventura County investigation report, the two decided to jump into the water shortly after Naya told her son to get back on the boat, he reports. CNN.
The report said: “She helped him into the boat, and he heard his mother yelling to help him raise his arm and then he disappeared into the water.”
The report further confirmed that his death was an accident and that he had no history of suicide attempts. She had vertigo that was worse when in the water, but she was considered a competent swimmer.
IT IS! News reports that a rental employee offered Naya a life jacket which she declined, but he gave it to her anyway. Investigators found the life jacket on the boat.
