Tottenham should sell Tanguy Ndombele to finance Arkadiusz Milik’s move

Tottenham’s summer has been decent overall, as José Mourinho has made a number of good additions to his team.

The seasoned Premier League trio, Joe Hart, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Matt Doherty, have come to the club to bolster Spurs’ ranks, as Mourinho looks to advance to the top four this season.

However, the Spurs manager has admitted that the club needs another striker and is hopeful to bring someone in over the next few weeks as the club looks to provide support for Harry Kane.

One of the names associated with a play is Naples and Poland striker Arkadiusz Milik. The impressive forward has made 51 appearances for his country, 14 times and is said to be a man in high demand.

Indeed, the Spurs are said to be interested, although Napoli is demanding around £ 30 million, according to the Evening Standard.

But if money is an issue for Spurs and they need to raise money for Milik, then surely the time has come for the club to pull the trigger on the sale of Tanguy Ndombele.

Ndombele would charge a fee and Milik’s signing is more important

Hojbjerg’s signing means Ndombele will be even lower in the pecking order this season with Mourinho.

And despite all the club’s attempts to get the best out of the Frenchman and not cut their losses on their record purchase of £ 53 million, there comes a time when the best is a move for everyone.

That moment may well be now, as Mourinho is apparently desperate for a new attacker. Even if the Spurs got less than they paid for Ndombele, it would surely be enough to fund a move for Milik and take the pressure off Harry Kane.

The Spurs must make big decisions before this season. His new signings are good business and good value for money. However, a forward is now a must and if the opportunity presents itself to unload Ndombele and bring in Milik then it really is a no-brainer.
