According to Limpopo police spokesman Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo, Polokwane police began a search for the suspects who had kidnapped and allegedly murdered the two women on Thursday.

“It is alleged that the neighbor of the victims went to visit them shortly after 6:00 p.m. [on Thursday] night, but was shocked when he found traces of blood on the house and the occupants missing. The police were called and a search operation began immediately. “

Mojapelo said the women’s bodies were found with multiple stab wounds, tied inside their motor vehicle, which was found abandoned along the R37 road next to the Kushcke exit ramp.

“The motive for the killings is unknown at this time, but robbery cannot be ruled out,” Mojapelo said.

Cases of two counts of murder and home burglary have been opened.
