Reports emerged in the English media on Wednesday that Manchester United had made a “breakthrough” in their pursuit to sign Jadon Sancho. However, Borussia Dortmund will not receive any offers for the 20-year-olds this summer. According to the very trustworthy Funke Sport, BVB bosses are determined to reject any offer they may receive for Sancho this summer.
The report adds that Sancho has not given the impression of wanting to leave the club this summer. And those responsible for Borussia Dortmund do not expect problems in the coming weeks either. The article also mentions Manchester United, stating that if the Premier League team plans to make an offer this summer, they can save themselves the trouble. Because it will only be rejected.
Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said last month that Sancho would stay at the club for at least one more year.
