Super agent Kia Joorabchian has become the latest individual to give his opinion on the Mesut Ozil saga.
Ozil is Arsenal’s main producer at the moment, but since signing his current contract at the club in 2018, his performances have been below average.
The German has been expelled from the Arsenal first team by Mikel Arteta and only returned in the club’s last friendly match.
Arteta had thought that he could bring out the best in the former Real Madrid player, but that did not happen and the Spaniard gave up.
His situation, however, is frustrating for both the player and the club, as well as for his fans and even for the spectators outside.
Joorabchian represents several players from Mikel Arteta’s first team and has said that the current situation between the player and the club does not benefit either of them.
“Ozil’s situation should have been resolved two years ago,” he told Talksport via The Metro. ‘What is the point of a player sitting and not playing? Who wins with it?
‘The club does not win with that. The player is getting old, he does not win with that. The agent does not benefit from that.
‘I mean, I’m not exactly sure, apart from the fact that the player maybe has a monetary gain from earning an income, I don’t think anyone really benefits from such a situation.
I can’t really remember that we didn’t try everything to resolve a player issue. I just don’t see the point of it. ‘
