Since the return of Formula 1 after COVID-19, races have followed one another with empty stands. However, to keep the spirits up, the Italian Grand Prix has taken the initiative to bring fans to the stadiums. Simple cardboard cutouts of fans will be placed in the start and finish stands to give the impression of a seated audience. Sebastian Vettel took this opportunity to extend his generous help towards the initiative.
The initiative has been taken to generate funds for charitable purposes. The Italian National Institute of Infectious Diseases IRCCS Lazzaro Spallanzani, the IRCCS CA ‘GRANDA Ospedale Maggiore Polyclinic Foundation and the Brianza para el Corazón Association ONLUS are ready to receive the funds raised for the event.
Vettel decided to collaborate, however, it spiced things up a bit. Sebastian Vettel turned around and took a selfie. After that, he kept clicking on random photos of his teammates. The total count came to 76 photos, all of which Vettel uploaded to the Face of Fan website. By paying € 40 for each photo, Vettel raised a hefty amount, along with which he personally donated a generous amount.
Aside from the charity commitment, Vettel pledged the act as a tribute to give something back to the passionate audience in exchange for their constant support. Vettel would be seen alongside Charles Leclerc, who added his contribution earlier this week.

Sebastian Vettel will leave Ferrari at the end of this season. After spending 6 years with the Italian team, the German will take a different track. Vettel joined the Prancing Stallions in 2015. Although he personally wanted to repeat Michael Schumacher’s performance, he was a long way from doing so.
However, he has always been passionate about the hobby. He admires them and absolutely loves them. Fans are the driving factors for the success of any sporting event. They are what make an event a success. However, after the pandemic crisis, all races are held behind closed doors. Vettel’s sweet gesture is sure to please fans around the world and encourage them to keep supporting with all their might.
