Social media users were left in stitches Thursday, trolling the dance moves of Phumzile van Damme’s “white girl”.
The district attorney’s shadow communication minister shared a video of her dancing in public after a Twitter user asked her if she could dance. This comes after Van Damme asked for the hit track from Master KG and Nomcebo Jerusalem which will be the song of December 2020.
Over the past few weeks, the song has sparked a worldwide dance challenge frenzy.
Around the world, people, including health workers, subway police, priests and Finance Minister Tito Mboweni, have been sharing videos of themselves dancing to the song under the hashtag #JerusalemChallenge.
The music video recently reached more than 114 million streams on YouTube, making it the first SA track to reach such high heights.
“Phumza, can you dance for us so we can pass?” @ XolaniHlongwa4 asked.
However, it seems that the public is not convinced by Van Damme’s dance moves. Hahaha
He said that he has been asked to stop dancing in public.
“I don’t know why,” he said.
