The Spaniard is someone United will be familiar with, having faced him in the Europa League semi-final last season. The Spaniard was a dominant force on the left and caused Aaron Wan-Bissaka countless problems.

Originally a Real Madrid player, Reguilón was on loan for a season at Sevilla. His performances saw him being named the best left-back in the Spanish top flight last season.

United will have to turn down Juventus, Inter Milan and Tottenham Hotspur’s interest in the 22-year-old. According to the Spanish publication AS (h / t Daily Star), Reguilon is tempted to move to Old Trafford, as he has been promised a starting position at the club.

According to Transfer Window Podcast reporter Duncan Castles, the other player on United’s radar is Monaco winger Fode Ballo-Toure. The Frenchman’s current deal with the French giants runs until 2023.

According to the report, the 23-year-old will be hired as a replacement for Luke Shaw. In doing so, Brandon Williams will move to the other flank as a backup for Wan-Bissaka.

Castles revealed that United is now reallocating the cash that was meant to bring Jadon Sancho.

Both Shaw and Williams have been decent for United all season. While the former’s injury history is a concern, the latter’s inexperience has seen him struggle at times.

Williams struggled towards the end of last season and was a blatantly weak link on our bottom line. However, it has shown promise and should thrive given time to develop.
