Spanish publication AS reports that Manchester United have made an offer to sign Tottenham Hotspur goal Sergio Reguilon, who is rumored to have been tempted by the prospect of moving to Old Trafford.
Reguilón is reportedly on Tottenham’s radar on the back of his impressive performance on loan at Sevilla last season (ESPN), but signing a left-back is not said to be a priority for José Mourinho this summer ( Soccer, London).
AS now reports that the defender is likely to leave the Spanish capital this summer as Zinedine Zidane is not convinced of him.
The report suggests that Manchester United have made an ‘interesting offer’ to sign the Spanish international as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to strengthen himself as a left-back. The 23-year-old is tempted by United’s offer as he is eager to play in the Champions League next season.
It is revealed that Sevilla also want to re-sign Reguilón, but would rather take him on loan for another season rather than a permanent contract.
It is said that while Los Blancos are willing to sell Reguilon for € 25-30 million, they would prefer to have a buyback option in the deal.

It would seem that a central defender, a forward and an attacking / winger midfielder are our priorities for the rest of the transfer window, so I don’t expect us to make a move for Reguilon.
