Police Malcolm Pojie: “Detectives attached to George FCS consulted Knysna Hospital about admissions to their maternity ward. The information they obtained led them to the town of Plettenberg Bay where they found the 17-year-old mother in New Horizon. She was arrested at the scene and faces child neglect and neglect charges. “
The baby was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
