The transportation department has announced that buses, taxis, and private vehicles traveling between provinces can complete their journey even during curfew hours.
In a statement, Transportation Minister Fikile Mbalula said in terms of regulation 4 (7) (b) issued under the Disaster Management Act of 2002 (Act No. 57 of 2002) that modifies the government notification not. 43 published in the government gazette no. 43262 of May 1, 2020 for the replacement of address 8.
Address 8 allows motorists to complete their interprovincial journey even during curfew during level 4 of the block.

Meanwhile, speaking to reporters on Monday, Mbalula apologized on behalf of the government to travelers who were upset when members of the police stopped their trip due to the curfew schedule.
I send my sincere apologies on behalf of the government to long-distance travelers who were harassed by the police and traffic officers who stopped them on the way due to the “curfew.”
I have been in contact with COGTA and the Minister of Police to address this. It will be corrected pic.twitter.com/QraUtulLtX
