The peri-peri chicken restaurant Nando will open certain branches for delivery starting May 4 after all.
Fast food deliveries are allowed in South Africa under Alert Level 4. However, consumers will not be able to visit fast food outlets to pick up their own takeaways, and food deliveries will only be allowed between 09 : 00 and 19:00 every day. .
Initially, Nando said Friday that it would not open, as there was no business sense in reopening just for deliveries. It was the last of the major chains that had no plans to offer delivery.

Orders can be placed between 10:00 and 18:00 directly from open stores, by phone, or you can download the Nando delivery app. You can also order through UberEats or Mr Delivery.
All delivery orders will be packaged with a tamper proof label and all employees will receive two sets of masks to wear while traveling and working in restaurants.
