Bollywood veteran couple Hema Malini and Dharmendra celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary today, Saturday.
Dharmendra and Hema Malini were married on May 2, 1980. She is Dharmendra’s second wife and they share two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Dharmendra’s first wife was Parkash Kaur with whom he shares four children: sons Sunny and Bobby Deol, and daughters Vijeeta and Ajeeta.
Previously, daughters Esha Deol and Ahana turned to social media and wished their parents on their special day.
Esha shared old photos of Hema and Dharmendra and wrote: “Happy wedding anniversary, my dear parents! My mom and dad, I love you both very much and I ask God to bless you both with infinite years of union, love, happiness and the best of health! ”
Ahana also took the photo and video sharing platform and wrote, “Happy 40th wedding anniversary to my love Bugs. I wish you many years of togetherness and many more adventures together. I love you both immensely.”
Hema took to Twitter and thanked the fans. She tweeted, “Dharam ji and I thank everyone who has wished us on our wedding anniversary today. It is your blessings and good wishes that have always been with us all these years. “
