Predator Hunting Grounds received update 1.05 yesterday which hopefully should fix some of the long pairing and queuing times. The game has not received the best reviews, as it is said to lack longevity, but one of its best features is the ability to invite peers on PlayStation 4 or the Epic Games store for a crossplay session.
As previously mentioned, Predator Hunting Grounds has not received the best review scores, as it currently only has a score of 59 critics on Metacritic. Since its release, there have been a lot of complaints about its pairing times, and there have also been complaints about the crossplay feature with some PC players unfortunate for being overwhelmed like Predator.
However, while their reception may not have been the best, the ability to invite peers from other systems to a private party is ultimately fantastic (when it works), and below you’ll find out how to do it.
How to disable crossplay for Predator Hunting Grounds
You can disable cross play for Predator Hunting Grounds by going to Options and General.
Once there, you should be able to switch the crossover game from on to off so you can enjoy Predator Hunting Grounds with players only on PS4 or the Epic Games store.
The problem with disabling the feature is that it could result in longer pairing and queuing times, while the advantage is that it will help PS4 players compete against others without an advantage.
After all, even though the ‘master race’ arguments are annoying, there’s no denying the speed and precision advantage that comes with using a mouse instead of a controller.
And some people on PS4 have complained that PC gamers are too optional like Predator.
I couldn’t turn off crossplay fast enough after that match against 3 PC players in Predator Hunting Grounds, I followed my move with newer and more perfect precision.
Bad habit of mine, but a couple that with the fact that some of them were lagging everywhere, I suspect.

How to play with friends on Predator Hunting Grounds
You can play Predator Hunting Grounds with friends by creating a party.
When the host has created a party, they can choose who to invite from their friends list, and then it’s up to the friends to accept the invitation.
Although Predator Hunting Grounds can be fun against complete strangers, just like Friday the 13th Much of the pleasure comes from playing with friends and playing.
How to make a cross invitation in Predator Hunting Grounds for PS4 and Epic Games
You must link your PSN and Epic Games account to make a cross invitation in Predator Hunting Grounds for PS4 and Epic Games.
So for a cross invitation at Predator Hunting Grounds, you must first visit the Epic Games website and log in with your PS4 account to link the two.
Once you are logged in to your PSN user on the Epic Games website, you can link your PlayStation profile to your existing Epic Games account. Either that, or you will need to create your first Epic account or a new Epic account in order to add friends who regularly use the storefront.
Once you’ve linked the two accounts and added your buddies to both Epic Games and PSN, you should be able to find those friends on your potential invite list when creating a party at Predator Hunting Grounds.
Predator Hunting Grounds cross invitation doesn’t work
There have been some complaints that the cross invitation doesn’t work for Predator Hunting Grounds.
Cross invites were not possible in the free trial, but are part of the full version, so they should work as intended.
If you can’t see Epic Games or PS4 mates on your list of possible invitations, chances are it’s to do with server issues, and therefore something only developers can fix.
